Certain Objects is a Chicago decorating practice and design gallery founded by Sarah Cougill.

My work draws on a deep knowledge of vintage furniture as well as ongoing relationships with contemporary designers, artists and makers. I use that range to create rooms that feel personal and useful, with a distinct point of view.

The gallery is built on the same foundation. Historical design is presented alongside new work in shows that examine the ideas and accumulated decisions behind objects over time.
